Organic Gags

Chapter 1: Things to Know Before You Start

Growing Gag trees at your Estate takes a bit of patience, but the rewards are massive. Before you grab your shovel, let’s go over the basics of how Organic Gags actually work.

The Organic Bonus

  • Power Boost: For almost every track, being Organic increases your damage or Toon-Up healing by 10%.
  • Accuracy Boost: Lure is the exception—instead of more “damage,” it gets a +10% bonus to its base accuracy. Note that Presentation is already at the 95% accuracy cap, so it doesn’t get a percentage boost, though you can still harvest it from a tree.

Gardening Rules

  • The Order Matters: You have to plant gags in order from Level 1 to Level 7. You can’t just skip to the high-level stuff!.
  • Slot Management: Your Estate has 8 slots for trees. Most Toons use 7 slots to make one full track Organic and use the last spot for a Level 1 gag of their choice.
  • Growth Time: It takes 3 days per gag level for a tree to mature. This means your Level 7 tree will take a total of 21 days to start producing gags.

Be careful with your shovel—if you dig up a lower-level tree, all the higher-level trees in that track will lose their Organic status and stop producing gags.

Chapter 2: The Big Debate: Throw vs. Trap

While every track has its fans, the real “meta” debate usually comes down to Throw or Trap. Let’s look at how they stack up.

Comparison Organic Throw Organic Trap
Biggest Selling Point One-shots Lured Level 11s One-shots Level 12s
Key Combos Birthday Cake + Lure TNT or Railroad
Best For… Grinding Mints and DA Offices Boss battles and small groups

Why Choose Throw?

Throw is arguably the most popular choice because of its sheer utility in daily grinding.

  • The Birthday Cake Factor: A standard Birthday Cake can’t quite kill a Lured Level 11, but an Organic Birthday Cake hits for 110 damage, finishing them off instantly. This is a lifesaver in Cashbot Mints.
  • Wedding Cake Power: If anyone else in your group uses a Throw gag (even a cupcake!), your Organic Wedding Cake will wipe out a whole row of Lured Level 12s.

Why Choose Trap?

Trap is for the Toons who want the highest raw damage in the game.

  • TNT Utility: An Organic TNT deals 198 damage, which is exactly enough to one-shot a Level 12 Cog.
  • Railroad Supremacy: The Organic Railroad is a beast, dealing 220 damage. With a successful Lure, it can delete an entire row of Level 12s without any extra help.
  • Accuracy Support: Don’t forget that just placing a Trap gives the Lure used in the same turn a +20% accuracy boost (stun).

Chapter 3: Final Tips & Trivia

Choosing your Organic track is a long-term commitment, so pick what fits your playstyle best!.

I personally went with Organic Trap. While the Throw bonus for Level 11s is great for grinding, nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing an Organic Railroad clear a floor of Level 12s when you’re short-handed or in a tough boss fight.

Pro-Toon Tips

  • Daily Harvest: Once your trees are grown, you can harvest them once every 24 hours. This is the best way to keep your Level 7 gags stocked up without having to go back to the Trolley or shop.
  • Street Props: Did you know that fighting near street objects like fire hydrants or mailboxes gives you a power boost?. Just keep in mind this only applies to Throw, Squirt, and Toon-Up.
  • Sound Thinking: Organic Sound is also an option, but it usually requires multiple people in the group to have it planted to reach the best “one-shot” thresholds for high-level Cogs. If you’re running with random groups most of the time, Throw or Trap are much more reliable.
