Cashbot Mint

Chapter 1: What to Know Before You Dive In

Following the major Under New Management update in May 2024, the Cashbot Mint has been reorganized from three tiers into two: Coin Mint (Easy) and Bullion Mint (Hard). Please note that the middle-tier Dollar Mint has been retired.

1. Difficulty Modes and Rewards

Choose a mode based on your current Laff and the amount of Cogbucks needed for your next Promotion. For high-tier suits—especially the Robber Baron, which requires up to 11,000 Cogbucks—running the Bullion Mint is highly efficient.

Item Coin Mint (Easy) Bullion Mint (Hard)
Laff Requirement 70+ 85+
Cog Levels 7 〜 11 8 〜 12
Encounters 5 〜 6 Groups 10 〜 12 Groups
Cogbuck Yield ~702 〜 807 ~1,626 〜 1,850

2. Survival Tips for Hard Mode (Bullion Mint)

The Bullion Mint features nearly double the number of Cogs (42–50 total) compared to the Coin Mint. Because of this, resource management is key—you should avoid using all your powerful Gags, such as Foghorns (now limited to 2), in the earlier rooms. Additionally, some rooms may spawn Overpaid Cogs with boosted HP, requiring tighter team coordination.

Chapter 2: Boss Strategy

In the deepest part of the Mint Vault, you’ll face a final showdown against the facility’s Supervisor, The Mint Auditor. This battle features a unique mechanic where the rules shift drastically based on the economic state of the market.

1. Supervisor Basic Stats

The Mint Auditor arrives with three Minions by his side. The boss has 750 HP in the Coin Mint and 1,150 HP in the Bullion Mint.

He also applies the following passive buffs to his team at the start:

  • Overpaid: Increases the minions’ maximum health (Coin: +150 HP / Bullion: +200 HP).
  • Tenure: Minions are completely immune to Pink Slips (instakills) and Remote Controls.

2. The Core Gimmick: Market Phases

The key to this fight is the “Market Phase,” which changes based on the number of Cogs currently in the battle.

Phase Trigger (Cogs Remaining) Key Effects
Bear Market 4 or 2 (Even) Gag Tax: Every Gag used consumes 2 from your inventory. You cannot select a Gag if you only have 1 left. Toons also receive +50% Defense.
Bull Market 3 or 1 (Odd) Tax Suspended: Gag consumption returns to 1. Damage for both Toons and Cogs is significantly increased (Coin: +25% / Bullion: +50%).

The current “meta” is to defeat exactly one minion on the first turn to immediately trigger Bull Market and remove the Gag Tax.

  • Turn 1 (Escaping Bear Market):
    • Coin Mint: One Toon uses Hypno Goggles to Lure, while two others use Storm Cloud on the lowest-level minion. The fourth Toon should plant a TNT on the Auditor to prepare for the next round.
    • Bullion Mint: One Toon uses Hypno Goggles, and two others use Birthday Cake on a Level 11 minion. Because of the minions’ high health, you’ll need at least one Organic Birthday Cake to guarantee the kill in one turn. The fourth Toon should plant a TNT on the boss.
  • Turn 2 Onward (Focus the Boss):
    • Take advantage of the Bull Market damage boost and focus all attacks on the Auditor. You’ll want to take him down quickly before he uses annoying moves like Promoted (leveling up minions) or Investment (healing plus applying the Attentive status, which shortens Lure duration).

Warning: If you defeat a second minion while the boss is still alive, the Cog count will drop to 2 (even), flipping the battle back to Bear Market and bringing back the Gag Tax. Focus on the boss first!

4. Finishing the Fight

Once the Auditor is defeated, the market phases end, and you can simply clean up the remaining minions. At this stage, use the damage boost to your advantage and finish them off safely with Sound or Lure combos. Remember that minions still have their Overpaid HP buffs, so don’t hesitate to use your strong Gags to finish them off!

Chapter 3: Supplemental Info & Trivia

1. Exclusive Rewards and Drop Mechanics

Defeating The Mint Auditor gives you a rare chance to obtain a unique accessory: the Auditor Shoes.

  • Boosting Your Odds: While the drop rate is random, your chances increase if you challenge the hard-mode Bullion Mint or if you currently possess a Version 2.0 Cog Disguise.

2. Benefits of Version 2.0 Cog Disguises

Once you reach Level 50 with your Robber Baron suit, you can upgrade to a Version 2.0 Cog Disguise.

  • C.F.O. Express: With a Version 2.0 suit, you can battle the Chief Financial Officer at any time without needing to earn any Cogbucks.
  • Appearance Customization: You can cosmetically change your appearance to any previous suit, such as a Short Change, while keeping your high-level status.
  • The Ultimate Reward: Reaching the maximum level in a Version 2.0 suit rewards you with the exclusive Slick Outfit.

3. Pro Tips and Trivia

  • Parkour Made Easy: If you struggle with platforming rooms like the Spinning Gear Room, you’ll want to enable Auto-Jump in your options. Moving toward the edge of a platform will cause your Toon to jump at the perfect time automatically, which can significantly reduce mistakes.
